The following cost information was compiled in connection with this order: Direct materials used: Part A321: 1 unit at P30 per monitor Part B987: 1 unit at P60 per monitor Direct labor used: Assembly: 6 hours per monitor at the rate of P50 per hour Inspection: 1 hour per monitor at the rate of P45 per hour In addition, the cost of manufacturing overhead is assigned to jobs based on direct labor hours. The estimated manufacturing overhead costs and direct labor hours are P25,000 and 5,000, respectively. Mars has a policy to add a 20% mark-up to estimated job costs to arrive at the selling price.
