The contemporary business world has undergone significant changes driven by technology with Artificial Intelligence and globalisation (Clegg, 2022) Furthermore, challenges with the Covid-19 pandemic have enabled the workforce to work from home and digital nomads to work from across borders as their work only requires a laptop and internet access while using their digital skillsets (Clegg, 2022)

Personality:

Managers recognise that they must embrace different personalities among their staff. The different personalities and strengths amongst the workforce create innovation, creativity, and collaboration within their teams. Staff mentoring with annual reviews helps shape their personalities and improves staff performance, productivity, and job satisfaction

Perceptions:

Managers understand that employee perceptions are essential to moulding future experiences and would significantly impact their motivation and performance. Managers actively engage in communication, transparency, and feedback to ensure that the work is correctly understood

Values:

Values are essential to help guide staff members in decision-making and make them feel important in achieving the business objectives and providing a quality output and outcome to their deliverables.

Impact on Performance and Individual Motivation:

The elements discussed have an impact on productivity of staff members. Staff feels supported and appreciated for the work they carry out and are further motivated when they know team members collectively are working together to meet the common objectives set to them by the business
