One potential area for growth is the Consumer Health market.The Consumer Health industry is a broad industry that encompasses a gamut of different products and services.With the aging population in Canada, STC believes that this may be a meaningful opportunity to pursue.See Appendix A for an example of devices and services that are in-scope.
Research Objectives:
The STC research team has identified the following research objectives:
- What is the size of the Consumer Health market in terms of annual dollars?
- Which products within the Consumer Health market shows the greatest growth potential?
- What are the key customer segments within the market?
- Which segments should be prioritized in terms of targeting?
- What is the size of market by segment?
- What do each segment want in terms of consumer health; what message(s) should be targeted per segment?
- Who are the key competitors in the market?
Methodology:
The STC research team believes that a quantitative online approach is the most appropriate but we are open to considering alternative methodologies.
Sample:
The STC research team believes a broad target would be ideal for this research (Gen Pop, 18+).Further, STC will launch the product Nationally in Canada.We expect that the survey will be fielded in both English and French.While STC has a perspective on the sample target, we are open to recommendations from the research provider to optimize further.STC also has a customer database of approximately 1 million STC users in Canada.This database only contains basic information: device, name, email address, region, gender, and age.
