Activity #5 - Lesson Plan

This assignment is designed to get you thinking about how to foster environmental awareness in people, specifically fellow students.

The idea is to explore ways of inspiring others to think about environmental sustainability and green management. There are two parts to this assignment; please do all three.

1) Identify and describe what you think to be the most pressing actual or underlying problem related to our environment today and explain why you take that to be the most pressing problem.

If you think overpopulation is at the source, talk about that. Or perhaps, climate change is the root cause of environmental degradation. Or you believe people are the reason for environmental issues. Whatever you choose, write enough that your reader (me) can understand what you are claiming and why.

2) Develop and describe a classroom lesson or exercise to explore the issue identified in #1. Make a PowerPoint Slide presentation. The length is up to you, as you are the teacher.
