It was Friday night and Christie was driving her New Chevy Truck down Colorado Springs Ave at an excessive speed, waving out the window to all of her friends. At the same time on Colorado Springs Ave, Robert, his wife Jean and his sister Lara are getting out of the car to see the new Monsters Inc move. Robert is getting their infant son Steve out of the car on the street side and Lara is on the opposite sides removing her daughter Chloe. Jean is putting money in the parking meter. Lara and Chloe had been living with Robert and Jean for the last 8 months because Lara was going through an ugly divorce. Christie suddenly swerved because she was whistling at a cute guy, hitting Robert and Killing him. The impact sent Steve flying into the car where he hit his head on the stick shift casing bran damage. The truck caused Robert's car to jump the curb and land on Lara's foot, and Chloe has a gash on her face. Jean heard the collision, but did not see it because the parking meter stole her money, so she was kicking and cussing out the meter. Jean did hear the collision, as well as Robert, Steve, Lara and Chloe's screams and jumped back from the car as it when up onto the curb. Chloe has constant nightmares, cold sweats and will never watch a Monsters Inc move again. Jean is afraid to get in a car, is scared of trucks and kicks every parking meter she passes. Lara can't stop crying and vomits every time she sees a truck. They all are in therapy for PTS.
