I need assistance with this discussion answer from a classmate how would you respond to this It is found that many factors put together are responsible for the risks of being diagnosed with alcohol use disorder. In the course of researching its characteristics in order to be properly diagnosed, the DSM-5 discovered that those factors often interact together for it to be a disorder. The best way to resolve a problem is to go to the root to find the cause. With the consumption of alcohol, the body should produce metabolism enzymes. When it is ill produced, more is needed to have an effect. The environment impact people and draws them to behave in similar manners, leaving them craving for more.On a psychological standpoint, alcohol use disorder affects humans' brains, which cause disruption in memory and learning ability.

Once the source of the problem is detected, that information can be used to develop the most appropriate treatment plan. I do believe that for any forms of treatment to work, patients would have to go through detoxification period. I also think that holistic treatments can be an effective approach.

Helping individuals with alcohol use disorder to control or limit their cravings in order to be aware of their surroundings can be helpful. If the individuals must report to court for trials, they must be sober in order to stand trial. If in any case a treatment is harmful to the individuals, it is unethical to implement or mandate it. The ethical standard supports no harm being done to clients/patients. If the treatment is necessary, the benefits must exceed the risks. Therefore, I don't believe it is ethical to mandate treatments that will cause more harm than good to anyone.
