I need help filling out my schedule m-1 on an S-Corps 1120S.

line 1 - Net income per books - $30,620

line 2 - income included on schedule k, not recorded on books - $0.00

line 3 - Expenses recorded on books this year, not included on Schedule k - Depreciation - ????

line 4 - Add lines 1 through 3 - ?????

line 5 - Income recorded on books, not on Schedule K - Tax Exempt Interest - $2,500

line 6 - Deductions included on Schedule K, not charged against book income - Depreciation - ????

line 7 - Add lines 5 through 6 - ?????

line 8 - Income (loss)- line 4 less line 7 - ?????

I have a Depreciation Expense on my Income statement of $ 40,000 with an asterisk notating that Depreciation for tax purposes is $50,000. I know that i should be able to get line 8 from my Schedule K but I also know I don't have everything right on there either. I'm just not understanding the Depreciation part. I've entered $50,000 and $17,500 on line 3 but both answers were marked wrong.
