I need help finding an "equitable" remedy for the case below, not a "legal remedy". In my initial post (which is not on here) I discussed a legal remedy which money was the legal remedy. Legal remedies award the non-offending (innocent) party with monetary compensation for damages (legal match). Adam Carrolla, American television and radio personality, was sued by his long-time friend and former business partner, Donny Misraje. While not the best idea, Carrolla and Misraje engaged in a verbal agreement that Misraje says he was entitled to 30% of the podcast company they together created. Misraje quit his job where he was earning $230,000 a year to be a part of the podcast. Misraje was later fired by Carrolla, and claims to not be given the 30% of the company he feels he earned. After nearly a week in court, the judge determined that Misraje was entitled to funds from 2009-2012, but not through 2017 that Misraje was asking for. The 3 years was quite different from the 8 years of the initial case, estimated at 4.5 million dollars. In an interesting turn of events, Carrolla and Misraje were able to settle the suit without monetary ruling. The sum was not disclosed. Directions: (My last name started with a "W") Your reply posts should be to the remedy you did not discuss in your initial post. In other words, if your last name is N-Z posts, and vice-versa. For your replies, discuss, at a minimum, the relationship between legal and equitable remedies.
