i need help in this assignment i need to Visit the Connecticut Judicial Department web site athttp://www.jud.ct.gov/jud2.htm.This is the search tool to look at current civil and criminal cases pending in the Connecticut courts. i be looking up and reporting on a current civil case. From this site i need to go into "Superior Court Case Look-up" and "Civil/Family/Housing/Small Claims" and search by party name. Insert any last name or name of a company and press search. There will appear all of the current civil court cases for that person/entity. For instance, I searched Walmart and found many cases in which Walmart is either the plaintiff or defendant. By clicking on the hyperlinked docket number it brings you to the full court docket. It identifies the type of case, court location, parties (plaintiff(s) and defendant(s)) and who their counsel are. It then shows the Motions/Pleadings/Docs/Case Status of the case. Because these are civil cases, the first documents will be a Summons and Complaint filed by the plaintiff. You may also see an Answer filed by the defendant as well as other motions, etc..

my assignment is to look at a case of my choosing using the party name look up described above (can be the name of where you work, a friend or family's name or any name at all) and summarize it for me. Be sure to include who are the parties, do they have attorneys (and who are they), which court is hearing the case and why do they have jurisdiction, what are the plaintiff's claim (from their Complaint) and what are the defendant's defenses (from their Answer).
