I need help on answering these questions using the linux virtual machine. Please show me the command and explain the reason if necessary(screenshot with right command will help too). I used the "free -m" command but my teacher told me that it is not the method he wanted. Thank you

1) With no applications running (beyond the web browser with this page), how much RAM is used by the native operating system? (e.g. Windows)

2) Check the virtual machine configuration. How much RAM is currently allocated to Linux in your virtual machine?
