I need help responding to my peers. The information below is from my peers. Executives should not receive bonuses or and extra pay for low performance from teams they run. Incentives are for executive that perform well above what is required of their organization. Bonus should be earned at all levels and not just given out just for meeting the standard. Here in the Army, we don't give bonuses for performances. We give bonuses for to initial enlistee if they choose a certain job, or if you up for re-enlist you can possibly get one. So, I guess bonuses in some organizations are not grade around performance, but the mass majority use that method. But "On Wall Street, you earn a bonus for delivering business, even if the company has a bad year. The banks say those incentives helps them lure and motivate their top talent" (Mason, 2009)
