I need help responding to my peers. The information below is from my peers. One of the best ways to show appreciation too employees on their hand work and contribution to the company is through pay raises and bonuses. I believe pay raises and bonuses does motivate employees to continue doing their best and could be one of the reasons why they would stay in the company. This in the long run will save the company money because they are retaining the employees who are helping the company succeed and make money. Paying employees a competitive and the best compensation could be the reason a company is keeping employees. Reducing turnover and not wasting time to source, recruit, and hire will save the company money and avoid having to train someone new to the company procedures. Annual raises could work if the company generates enough income while bonuses could work if someone is meeting the goals that needs to be met. I believe a performance based bonus for employees who are successful, a great team player, a positive addition to the company culture, and who goes above and beyond is a great reason for company's to provide a salary increase
