1. Claudia said? This research aims to observe Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) winter type, an almost yearly recurrent depression with onset symptoms. SeasonalAffective Disorder (SAD) is more than just normal emotions that only happen on shorter days in the winter which results in depressive symptoms.Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that happens during certain seasons of the year. It is a subtype of depression characterized by seasonal fluctuation (Piotrowski & Prerost, 2022). I predict that using the longitudinal study method with the use of Bright Light Therapy (BLT) will be effective at reducing Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) in adults over the peak seasonal season. It is important to know the key variables that are related because it helps to understand the family history of any depression, bipolar, and or any other major depressive disorders or manicepisodes along with environmental factors that may contribute to Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). In addition, this proposed research will focus on the research questions of, How common is Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), and is being (SAD) just a phase? Are individuals with this disorder likely to suffer from depressive symptoms all year long? What exactly causes Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)? What treatments are available or offered for this disorder? and Does the environment play a role in this disorder? In conclusion, the narrow focus of this research will be how Bright Light Therapy (BLT) will be effective at reducing Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) over a period of time. Proving that Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is not just a phase and help and therapies are available.
2. Milla said? In order to determine this you would need to have two groups of people. One group of middle aged people which would be 30-59 years of age. The second group would consist of people 60 years of age and older. Both groups should have equal amounts of people involved. Including the genders.
A survey will be conducted with a number of questions that consist of exercise and working out. Along with this the survey will ask participants to put there age, occupation, and gender.
This survey would be done in an open setting where they can take as long as needed. Along with being able to sit wherever they please. This allows the older and middle aged people to be mixed so they feel there is no separation between the two.
Lastly you would need to get consent and inform all participants as to what is happening. Along with being able to share and compare the results with other researchers. Once all the surveys are completed you can compare the surveys and see if the hypothesis is true or not.
