1. Sophonie said? My educational goals consist of obtaining my bachelors in psychology. I have two classes left including this one before I graduate. My career goal is to use my degree in a school setting or hospital setting. I am currently in the early childhood education field and I can use my psychology degree in that field. What drew me to my major is me always wanting to help people with their problems, give them advice, help them find a solution and being that when I learned about psychology since I was young I was intrigued by the field. Learning how the mind works always excites me. I would not describe my choice as a calling because I had plenty of choices, I could have chosen to get my degree in early childhood. I think I just made a choice that I could use in both fields because I love working with children and with my psychology degree I can still do that. If this is a calling that means I am doing what God put me on this earth to do.

Volunteering help's us develop our personal skills and enhance our confidence we need to push ourselves more in life. Most of the time, volunteering involves the development of various communication and leadership abilities. These skills can be used in various professional settings or nonprofessional settings. Volunteers work is the easiest way to meet new people and grasp at different way of learning or doing something new. The quickest way to move forward in your career is to market yourself. Marking yourself is the best set up for your future, allowing you to connect with a wide range of individuals, such as fellow volunteers, and beneficiaries. Just as simple as adding the extracurricular activity to your resume will allow for future jobs to consider you a lot faster over someone else.
