I need help response to my peers?

1. Sophonie said? A volunteer/internship experience would be beneficial for obtaining a position in my desired career field because I have no hands-on experience. I will complete the schooling for a bachelors in psychology but using my degree in a school setting to become a school guidance counselor or human resource worker I need to be in the setting to learn the pros and cons of the field. Everything I learned in all my years of schooling I can use in my career field, I can use all the knowledge I learned and see and understand why the information I learned was needed for my career. My psychology degree can be used in a human resource setting, school setting and much more. "Some degree programs are broad, and it may be difficult to identify the specific career you want to pursue. Completing an internship allows you to explore different career areas to help you learn more about your interests to make effective decisions about your career" (Indeed Editorial Team, 2023). Although I am almost finished with school, I still have trouble making a decision about my career field and an internship or volunteer experience can help me decide.

2. Andrew said? Journaling is a valuable skill and activity to utilize both personally and, professionally. Furthermore, journaling allows professionals to retain information that they acquire while fulfilling the duties of the position. I learned from my time in the military to always have something to write on and something to write with. I have carried this advice with me to my civilian career where I write down certain elements that are critical to the success of my duties in my civilian career. Furthermore, I believe that journal writing benefits future career goals because it allows one to retain information as well as write down goals. This allows an individual to visualize what steps they need to take in order to achieve their goals and look back how they have grown from the past and, the challenges they had to overcome to get to where they are currently. Journal writing can also enhance one's communication ability because it allows an individual to get into the habit of writing down different aspect with in-depth descriptions.
