i need help rewriting this and making it sound more project managerial and adding anything I may have missed in my mitigation strategy.

The steps to risk mitigation are as follows. First one must identify the risk, which is the process of determining and documenting all potential risks that may happen during and after the project. This is a potential scheduling risk which can cause delays to the launch of the actual product, the Student Progress Reports. The next step after identifying the risk is to determine what type of impact it may have on the overall project and the probability of it happening. This risk has a high impact because it has the potential to delay the project's completion and if it is not addressed early on, the probability of it happening is high. The following step is to figure out a strategy on how to respond to the risk. Due to the negative standpoint of the risk, the team can either decide to avoid, transfer responsibility, mitigate, or choose to accept the consequences of the risk. These are the options for a negative risk, and it is suggested that it is avoided due to the particularly important dependencies. It is also recommended that the project manager forgo transferring responsibility to a third party and accept the consequences of the risk due to this project's importance. The appropriate course of action is to mitigate the risk by reducing its probability. To mitigate the risk, one should set a plan to help reduce any negative impacts that the risk may cause. In this case, one would have to control the scheduling by arranging updates for the beginning middle and end of each step, therefore, having everyone consulting the project manager before a step starts and during the step, throughout the whole project. This will create a reliable source of communication that assists in controlling the schedule. This will allow the project manager to evaluate risks when they occur and respond to them promptly. This will also allow the project manager to attempt schedule compression if the schedule is falling behind. This is the best course of action because it will permit the team to address this risk as well as others as they occur. The project manager will be able to make changes, adjustments, and revisions to the schedule quickly, which will allow them time to determine whether there is a need to involve the stakeholders regarding more time and resources.
