For questions 11-13, enter your answer (a number). Use dot (-) to separate decimal places (e.g. 1.5). Blackboard ignores commas, so 1,234.56 = 1234.56. To allow for small rounding errors, any answer within 2% difference from the right answer is accepted, e.g. if the right answer is 100, then all answers between 98 and 102 are accepted. If the right answer is 1.00, then all answers between 0.98 and 1.02 are accepted. To avoid too large rounding errors, I recommend following two rules: 1. Round your answer to two decimal places, eg, round 1.2345 to 1.23, not to 1.2 2. Keep more digits in your intermediate calculations because rounding errors may add up. Assume Ann got the following grades and no extra credit HW1 HW2 HW3 HW4 HW5 HW6 HW7 Exam1 Exam2 Exam3 Grade 0 10 12 6 9 14 11 14 10 20 Max 20 10 15 12 10 16 10 20 16 24 Weight 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 25 25 25 11. What is Ann's Total? Use the example on page 7 of the Syllabus. Note: please download the Syllabus again to make sure you have the latest version. 12. What is Ann's letter grade assuming the same curve as in Spring 2019? 13. How much extra credit does Ann need for the next letter grade? Example of the curve from Spring 2019 (in Fall 2021, the curve might differ): 92+ 88+ 85+ 80+ 75+ 70+ 65+ 60+ 55+ 50+ 50- A A- B+ B B- C+ C- D+ D F
