A full and completed Learning Journal is required if you are to be credited with the Journal points. The complete personal learning journal may contain, but is not limited to:-- Reflections upon the issues raised and how they can assist and help you in your academic and professional endeavors; any relevant reflections on the issues discussed in class, relevant examples that arise in the media, and consideration of how the issues discussed relate to your own experiences; responses to specific questions raised in each topic; entries demonstrating wider reading through references to articles or other publications. You also need to make entries based upon your opinions of the topics addressed. Special emphasis should be on the issues/points that interested you the most, issues/points you learned from the most, and viewpoints you disagreed with. The Journal is to be written in a story-telling, not a bullet-point, format.
