I need help with a Debate Topic: Resolved:Business has a responsibility to reduce income inequality in the US.

The Powerpoint slide should address the following sections:

a.Affirmative introduction (2 to 3 slides)

b.Negative introduction ( 2 to 3 slides)

c.Affirmative response (2 to 3 slides)

d.Negative response ( 2 to 3 slides)

e.Affirmative summary (2 to 3 slides)

f.Negative summary (2 to 3 slides)

Tips:/Guidelines

1.Affirmative Introduction: The first affirmative introduction must introduce the presentation as a whole. This means that you need to provide a DEFINITION (that is, defining the key terms and the topic as a whole in the MOST REASONABLE way). Secondly, you must introducethe overarching argument that you'll be pursuing (try and summarize it in a catchy line). Thirdly, you must show break down of each section, Finally, you must introduce at least one POSITIVE ARGUMENT for each of the affirmatives (introduction, response and summary)

2.Negative Introduction: Here you need to show how you disagree with a fundamental aspect of the affirmative introduction. You will need to REBUT the substantive points made in the affirmative introduction.

3.Affirmative response:Here you need torebutany important points put forward during the negative introduction. You will also need to present majority of thesubstantive material, withfacts, statistics, examples, or any other evidence to back up what they are saying.

4.Negative response:Here you need torebutany important points put forward during the affirmative response. You will also need to present majority of thesubstantive material, withfacts, statistics, examples, or any other evidence to back up what they are saying.

5.Affirmative Summary: Here you need to REBUT all the arguments put forward during the negative response, then summarize. You can do that by putting together similar arguments and picking them apart all at once. Finally, remember to summarize and show why the affirmative is right.

6.Negative Summary: Here you need to REBUT all the arguments put forward during the affirmative summaryandthen summarize. You can do that by putting together similar arguments and picking them apart all at once. Finally, remember to summarize and show why the negative is right.
