One is pulling with 12 N [east], one pulls with 12 N [west], a third pulls with 15 N [south] and the forth with 10 N [north]. a. Draw a free body diagram of the inner tube. Label all the forces with their size and direction. Show only horizontal forces (i.e. ignore gravity). b. What is the net force on the tube? c. How will the tube move (i.e. constant motion? No motion? Acceleration? What direction?) 3. You have forced your little cousin onto the sled again and you are pulling it. You exert a force of 50 N [forward]. There is a frictional force of 10 N [backward]. The force of gravity on your cousin and the sled is 440 N [down] and of course there is the normal force upward. In addition to all these, your cousin is terrified (due to past experience) and is dragging her hands in the snow behind her causing a force of 20 N [back]. a. Draw a free body diagram for this situation. Label all the forces with their size and direction. b. What is the net force on the sled? c. How will the sled move (assuming your cousin is firmly attached)? (i.e. constant motion? No motion? Acceleration? What direction?) Explain.
