I need help with this, please. It's about conducting an interview with an older adult. It can be about anything.

Select an older adult who is willing to help.Use your interview skills, including active listening, reflecting, and giving your client 'space' during your session.

• Ask the older adult to talk to you about an event, situation, or problem that he or she does not mind sharing.Find a quiet spot so that the two of you are not interrupted.
• Use the behaviors and other techniquesas you listen to your interviewee talk.
• After you have practiced your active listening, describe to your interviewee what it was like to listen using this technique.Then, ask your interviewee to share his or her experience.
• Tell us who you selected for the purposes of the interview.Why did you select this person?
• What was your experience in conducting this interview?Describe your successes and challenges with this process.
• Describe any culturally - relevant changes you may have made to your interview space.Note any differences/similarities with your interviewee's communication style that may be attributed to their cultural background/experiences.
• Share the feedback you received from your interviewee.Have them describe what areas you demonstrated successfully and what areas you may need to develop further.
