I need help with this question. If you see at the bottom, the last three questions have an arrow that goes down I will list the options here. Number 1, if Felix decides to contribute to the building mural, Carlos would maximize his benefit by choosing " to contribute" or " not to contribute" number two- on the other hand, it, Felix decides not to contribute to the building mural, Carlos would maximize his benefit by" to contribute" or " not to contribute" number three- these results illustrate " the tragedy of the commons" "the creation of positive externality" " why markets are efficient" " the free rider problem"

3. Voluntary contributions toward a public good Carlos and Felix are considering contributing toward the creation of a building mural. Each can choose whether to contribute $400 to the building mural or to keep that $400 for a new suit. Since a building mural is a public good, both Carlos and Felix will benefit from any contributions made by the other person. Specifically, every dollar that either one of them contributes will bring each of them $0.80 of benefit. For example, if both Carlos and Felix choose to contribute, then a total of $800 would be contributed to the building mural. So, Carlos and Felix would each receive $640 of benefit from the building mural, and their combined benefit would be $1,280. This is shown in the upper left cell of the first table. Since a new suit is a private good, if Carlos chooses to spend $400 on a new suit, Carlos would get $400 of benefit from the new suit and Felix wouldn't receive any benefit from Carlos's choice. If Carlos still spends $400 on a new suit and Felix chooses to contribute $400 to the building mural, Carlos would still receive the $320 of benefit from Felix's generosity. In other words, if Carlos decides to keep the $400 for a new suit and Felix decides to contribute the $400 to the public project, then Carlos would receive a total benefit of $400 + $320 = $720, Felix would receive a total benefit of $320, and their combined benefit would be $1,040. This is shown in the lower left cell of the first table. Complete the following table, which shows the combined benefits of Carlos and Felix as previously described. Felix Contributes Doesn't contribute Contributes $1,280 Carlos Doesn't contribute $1,040 Of the four cells of the table, which gives the greatest combined benefits to Carlos and Felix? When both Carlos and Felix contribute to the building mural When neither Carlos nor Felix contributes to the building mural When Carlos contributes to the building mural and Felix doesn't, or vice versa Now, consider the incentive facing Carlos individually. The following table looks similar to the previous one, but this time, it is partially completed with the individual benefit data for Carlos. As shown previously, if both Carlos and Felix contribute to a public good, Carlos receives a benefit of $640. On the other hand, if Felix contributes to the building mural and Carlos does not, Carlos receives a benefit of $720. Complete the right-hand column of the following table, which shows the individual benefits of Carlos. Hint: You are not required to consider the benefit of Felix. Felix Contribute Doesn't contribute Contribute $640, - Carlos Doesn't contribute $720, - If Felix decides to contribute to the building mural, Carlos would maximize his benefit by choosing to the building mural. On the other hand, if Felix decides not to contribute to the building mural, Carlos would maximize his benefit by choosing to the building mural. These results illustrate
