I need help with this systems understanding aid in my accounting information systems class. I just need the journals and ledgers. I have attached the transaction list and all the documents to complete the journals and ledgers.

image text in transcribed Systems Understanding Aid Instructions 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Read the reference guide and the instructions. Study the flow charts provided in the instruction booklet. Read all instructions and notes on the transaction list. Review all Systems Understanding Files in Course Documents. The systems approach will be used to complete this project. Process the transactions by business cycle. a. Sales journal b. Cash receipts journal c. Purchases journal d. Cash disbursements journal Remember that each cycle has sub-cycles that are to be included in the cycle. 6. Classify each transaction on the transaction list as a. Sales journal b. Cash receipts journal c. Purchases journal d. Cash disbursements journal e. General journal 7. Process the transactions using the workpapers provided in ASSIGNMENTS Systems Understanding Aid -in the order specified in step 5. Handwritten projects will not be accepted. 8. The transaction list will lead you through each step in detail. 9. Begin processing the month's activities using the steps in the accounting cycle. 10. Submit each journal as it is completed. 11. Follow the directions given in the transaction list. 12. Each student must have their own project. If students hand in the same file printout of any portion of this project, all will receive zeroes. 13. It is important that this material be understood. 14. If the accounting cycle is understood, it is understood that one step determines the next. IE -- if the journal entry is wrong, the general ledger is wrong, and the financial statements are wrong. There is no way that errors in the system can result in perfect financial statements. Therefore, if there are errors in the project, but perfect financial statements, the project will receive a zero. However, if the mistakes are processed correctly points will be deducted. This is a round about way of sayingif financial statements are copied from others all involved will receive zeroes. If there are errors, related points will be deducted. Our employers are telling us that our students do not understand the accounting cycle. Some are even testing for understanding. This is unheard of to test students for understanding of basics when they hold a 4-year degree. Therefore, this is your chance to solidify your understanding. You can ask questions and work together, but you cannot divide up the project and hand in the same file as another student. Purchase a cheap three-ring folder-- Soft plastic -not the hard notebook. Organize your project within that binderthis will minimize handling of the documents. The project is due on the date provided in the assignment schedule. There are no exceptions. If you have questions, please post them to the Discussion Board Other notes: 1. The online documents do not have to used. The documents can be filled out by hand. This is the only part of the assignment that is acceptable handwritten. 2. The checks do not have to written. They can be filed as if filled out. There is nothing to be learned from filling out blank checks. 3. I will provide a the authors filing solution 4. I will provide a list of check figures.
