Consensus methods Apple Company uses this method as a tool to forecast demand wherein only a few people are involved to make the forecasts specically the top managers of the company. They conduct their forecasting by having debates and discussions with one another. 4. Tentative approaches ~ This forecasting tool involves the use of customer surveys and consumer panels. Customer surveys are either done through apps on iPhones and inside Apple stores wherein customers answer questions related to their interests in what type of product they prefer or their insights about the iPhone products. These tentative approaches as a forecasting tool help Apple understand what the customers like to see in the products they sell. 5.
