Chapter 11

My AD would be for a new car

A.My ad for older people would represent stability, affordability, and safety. Old people are not worried about showing off or buying the most expensive car on the lot. They care about stability and getting the most out of their money. I'm not sure what celebrity I would use for this but it would have to be a sensible commonly known actor who has a good reputation and no scandals.

B.My ad for kids/teens would represent style, popularity, and affordability. Kids/teens who are in the market for a car are looking for something to impress their friends with but also looking for a price that they or their parents can afford. I would use a mainstream artist like CardiB or Drake to reach out to the teens and captivate their attention.

C.My ad for super rich people would represent style, pricey price tag, and popularity. Super rich people are interested in purchasing pricey cars that are stylish and have great amenities. A celebrity I would have endorse this would as well have to super rich and very into luxurious things. I would probably go with a Kardashian.

D.My celebrity would depend on the crowd I am trying to attract and what my marketing plan would look like.

Chapter 12

I think it depends on the commercials that are created. Pepsi got a lot of backlash from their commercial with Kendall Jenner. If the commercial is done in a good way it could generate in a lot of sales given that the commercials during the super bowl are seen by millions and millions of people.

There are many different forms of advertising and each has its pros and cons. Social Media has become a very powerful tool in advertising. It is easy to reach many people at once and is an inexpensive way to promote your product. The cons of it would be that targeting is so hard since there is much diversity going on.

If I had to advertise a product, I would advertise wine. I would direct it towards the super moms to who work their 8-5 and then get home and have to continue working until all the kids are in bed. Wine is the perfect way to finally take a moment to yourself after a long day of being a super mom.

Chapter 13

I always read reviews before trying a new restaurant or making a semi-pricy purchase. Its very hard to decipher which reviews should be considered and which ones shouldn't be. I take a look at what they're saying and what the profile looks like. Whether or not they post pictures of the product. I look at how many reviews there are in total and if there is only good reviews that I give it a second thought. Not every product is going to work for everyone. A genuine product with genuine reviews will have some bad ones.
