The road went along the beach frontage, passed a concrete boat ramp, and then Greg found a space in a car park facing the ocean Between the cars and the beach was a grossed area and a rock wall There were picnic tables in this grassed area. It had been raining earlier in the day, but it was sunny while he ate his attomoon tea. After eating. Greg decided to walk down to the beach. He was able to pass between a shrub and behind a large sign and in the boat ramp with just a small step/jump down. As Greg walked down the ramp, he slipped and tell himing his head on the concrete ground. The ramp was wet, probably from the rain. He has suffered serious personal injuries The large sign had WARNING, in red and at the top and to the right of this the following words. "This bosch may be dangerous. Look out for hazards to yourself and people in your care. Below were a number of triangular pictograms with words slowing things like boat ramp', 'sharks strong currents, submerged rocks' sippery areas and marine creatures. Further below were crossed circles to indicate no glass, no Camping, no dogs, and no fres This sign is clearly visible from the road and is on both sides of the start of the boat ramp. The Wise Beach Group had the cw, control and management of the boat ramp and had erected the sign Greg was a fisherman and a boat owner. He would fish from rocks, the beach and his boat from time to time. Whilst he had visited this beach previously, he had not used the boat ramp before. The boat ramp was submerged from time to time by seawater, so it was subjected to the growth of marine e on its surface. The Wise Beach Group organised to have it pressure cleaned once a month.
