I need to prepare a "Supplier Scorecard" in line with their Company Values and Goals.

  1. Name of company:Johnson & Johnson: A healthcare and consumer goods company that has a commitment to sustainable sourcing, including sourcing palm oil, paper, and other materials from sustainable sources.
  2. Brief explanation of the industry/product and the company itself
  3. List Company Values and strategic goals
  4. Analysis of the company's procurement process and sustainability. I need to research more on their procurement and sourcing process. What are they doing/not doing? Do their actions match up with their values and goals? How does this relate to competitors/industry standards? Relate to the concepts of sustainable procurement (ethics, green). Ie Starbucks and fairtrade (but not genuinely). Ensure its precise and critical (half a page critical evaluation). Sections 1-4 = 2%
  5. I need to Create a Procurement Scorecard & Written Explanationusing the template provided. Include 5 criteria with their relative weights (to total 1.0). Each criteria should have 3-5 subcriteria that further define the requirements. Criteria and subcriteria should be unique and specific to the company/industry depending on its competitiveness.
  6. Ie a company focused on cost may wish to weight cost higher than other criteria
  7. Ie a company focused on quality may wish to "tradeoff" cost with higher quality and this is reflected in the weighting criteria

Other factors to consider:

  • Depending on the company values and industry - you may wish to include "certifications/accreditations" ie Organic Certification in subcriteria.
  • Keep in mind the company values - ie LUSH cosmetics has ethical sourcing - there must be some criteria/subcriteria in the scorecard that reflects this.
  • Ensure your scorecard is "balanced" and must reflect the requirements of the company as a whole
