I strive to be a great team member in all settings. While working as a team is not always my first choice, I enjoy working with others. Furthermore, I can agree that there are areas I need improvement in. Though I strive to be a great team member, I am not a perfect team member. As suggested by Mind Tools, one area I can work to improve is providing my team members with information on their personal performance and overall time performance. Team members must understand their strengths and how to improve their weaknesses. Furthermore, they must understand how they are currently performing in their role. Another area I can improve in is assessing conflict. I understand that conflict is inevitable when working in team settings. However, sometimes it can be awkward to resolve. Often, I feel as though I am choosing sides. Rather than choosing sides, I can offer resolutions that work as a compromise between each team member. This change is an improvement that I am actively working on
