I think one the greatest injustice I've seen in California is that in order to receive assistance, you need to be below the poverty line. Everything in California is so expensive compared to everywhere that the minimum wage has increased to 15$. In order to get help, you need to make a little over 1000$ a month. Which is impossible to get. I believe that the poverty line should be different in California due the different circumstance and inflation that we have compare to the other states.A huge injustice that so many people living and working in Southern California is the minimum wage of jobs vs the cost of products, food, services, housing, and bills. Everything is so expensive and people are not earning enough to be able to live comfortably. Houses are so expense, renting is expensive, and it is hard to be able to purchase a home because of that reason. From my own personal experience, I want to save up for a house but they are so expensive and it seems impossible to save up with my salary. This is injustice because the amount people are earning in their jobs does not match up to the inflation
