I want to explore if a new drug work better than an existing drug in affecting cholesterol in a group of patients and if so, which dosage works best. I randomly assign a third of the patients the new drug at 10mg/day, another group gets a dose of 20mg/day and the last group receive the previous drug. What test can I use if assumptions are fulfilled?I want to explore if a new drug work better than an existing drug in affecting cholesterol in a group of patients. First, participants receive the existing drug for 10 weeks and their blood cholesterol is monitored. After 10 weeks, the participants receive the new drug for 10 weeks and their blood cholesterol is again monitored and compared to when they were on the first drug. I then compare the blood cholesterol levels for each participant for when they were on the different drugs. What test can I use if assumptions are fulfilled
