A close family friend was receiving private in-home care due to immobility and had contracted

COVID from her caregivers. She no longer has a caregiver and phoned saying she has soiled her bed,

and no longer has any bedside water as she has been unattended for a couple of days and I am worried.

Can I take a leave from work to care for her? What if anything can I receive for payment until we can

find a replacement caregiver? How long do i have to find another caregiver.
