Value, beliefs, and ethics are fundamental aspects of human existence, directing our actions and influencing the development of societies. The interaction between values, beliefs, and ethics are important in the pursuit of justice and harmony.

An incident that challenged my beliefs and values when I was working as a team leader in a restaurant, and I noticed one of our colleagues was stealing food consistently due to which I was short of chicken during inventory count. This situation challenged my values and beliefs, as well as the ethical standards of our restaurant.

To resolve this issue, I began observing my colleague and noticed it was not a one-time mistake but rather a pattern. I also enquired with my other co-workers if they observed the same behavior. After gathering all the information, I decided to confront the team member about stealing, but he refused to acknowledge it. Following that, I chose to escalate the matter and report it to my manager.
