I will be able to apply what I have learned in this course in my current career as a Manger of Clinical Operations in a healthcare system by having a deeper understanding of the total rewards process and the planning involved in keeping rewards progressive and based on team member needs. I can, therefore, be a greater advocate for the systems rewards among the teams I support. The trend I feel will be the greatest challenge for me will be the increased number of staff who desire remote or hybrid work. It can be difficult to recruit and retain talent when this type of flexibility cannot be offered. In healthcare, many roles really do require hands on, on-site staffing. Thinking outside the box for safe ways we can evolve clinical roles based on this desired flexibility will certainly be a task. But, if done effectively, may aid us in retaining the best talent in our health system.
