Broadly speaking, what are the two basic classifications of costs that manufacturer's deal with? (within the factory and outside of it) For those costs incurred within the factory, why are they not expensed when immediately incurred? Add'l hint for what I am looking for--think of location on the Income Statement: what are manufacturing vs. non-manufacturing costs called?)
