I would like some guidance on the following question

QUESTION 1. (a) For the last three years Peter has been an employee of Speedy Ltd which manages the super sailing yacht 'BlueArrow' that participates in single-handed, round-the-world races and is owned by Ms Ilchenko, a wealthy Russian oligarch. Speedy Ltd is managed by Mr Wilson as its managing director. Although Peter started off as a junior employee, his extensive racing expertise and racing yacht knowledge proved invaluable, so much so that he has effectively become indispensable to Mr Wilson who consults with him on most matters. Shortly before the start of the last Vendee Globe race, WSW suffered from an unexpected tear in its main sail. Mr Wilson and Peter discussed alternatives with their normal sail supplier, Marcus from Sunny Dale Ltd, in a TEAMS meeting during lockdown. On these occasions Mr Wilson would always treat Peter as an equal. Although no nal decision was made, the discussion led to a clear favourite, but Mr Wilson wanted to conrm with Ms 11mm that she was happy with the choice. When Marcus met Peter at the tennis courts later in the week, he asked Peter whether Ms Ilchenko had gone along with the preferred choice, and Peter mistakenly conrmed that she had. Accordingly, Sunny Dale Ltd made and delivered the sails to Speedy Ltd at high speed. Speedy Ltd kept the sails for two weeks to see if Mr Wilson could persuade Ms Ilchenko that these were the perfect sails to win the Vendee Globe race, but she would have none of this.
