I would like some ideas out of the question. A CEO of a charter airline has informed his manager that he was at a business lunch with another aircraft charter operator and at
lunch they were discussing the recent price war in domestic charter
flights between cities His friend suggested that the war needs to end as it
was making it too hard to make a buck. He said that the charter operators need to just "get
their heads together and agree on a price which is reasonable". The CEO is enthusiastic
about this approach, but would like to know whether there are legal issues arising
out of the charter operators getting together and deciding on a pricing structure so that the
business remains profitable for all of them?
