I would say new staff but looking at how quickly things change within child welfare all staff must be trained to implement more evidence-based practice. It should be required that all staff stay current on their research by attending trainings and or classes that are available within the agency. Hosting monthly trainings will also help to implement evidence-based practices. Due to the workload, due to what is required of the workers something that may be a hindrance is the high turnover in child welfare workers, as well as the high turnover rate in the children that come into our care. A way to maneuver through this hindrance would be implementing new staff to begin their trainings as soon as they are employed. reword this
