1. Identify and describe a networking event you are going to - could be a Santa Monica College sponsored event. An association or chamber of commerce event would is a great place to start - an often there's a student discount.
2. Research the event and the organization - what's the association about? What's its mission? How often does it meet? Is it a solo organization or chapter of a national or international association? See Gitomer's list in Google Docs for ideas
3. Identify three (3) potential attendees (like the president, vice president of membership, vice president of programming, secretary, and then research them.Write out one (1) power question for each person. See their LinkedIn to start and go from there.
