Identify the independent and dependent variables in your hypothesis.

My research question is how does incarceration impact parent-child relationships. My hypothesis concludes children with an incarcerated parent are more likely to have behavioral problems or depression than similar children without an imprisoned parent, and may suffer from learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, and anxiety.
