identify the strengths of the Philippines that may contribute to a sustainable ASEAN integration in meeting the COVlD-19 challenge. -It has been exactly 11 months since the Corona Virus outbreak began. And as one of the first areas to be affected by the pandemic (COVlD-19), Southeast Asia has seen a dramatic rise in the number of reported cases. With the economic downturn caused by domestic containment measures and global disruption to trade, tourism, and production, the region is now facing the prospects of a worldwide financial shock and recession. Around the same time, the head authorities defied lockdowns imposed to contain the transmission of the virus. At the early beginning of the pandemic, President Rodrigo Duterte didn't incline to impose a travel ban against China since it was \"unfair" and "impossible\" to order a ban on tourist traffic from China. This decision had a massive backlash on the country- resulting in 407,838 cases and 7,832 deaths, leaving the country in a state of calamity. Nevertheless, The ASEAN Health Sector, alongside the People's Republic of China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, has mobilized regional collaboration mechanisms to respond to the rapidly emerging threat presented by the 2019 Corona Virus. Each of the regions has a vital role to play in diminishing the cases of the virus. Malaysia leading the Health Emergency Operations, Epidemiology Training Network managed by Thailand, Cambodia for the Official Meeting for Health Development, and The Philippines for Data Analytics and Visualization. The Bio-Diaspora Virtual Center, headed by the Philippines, has provided Regional Risk Evaluation Reports for the international spread of COViD-19 in Southeast Asia. The reports contain highlights and explanations of the conditions in ASEAN and international; information on air traffic flows between the ASEAN Member States and countries with cases and outbreaks; travel restrictions; and developments in the ongoing epidemic. For this reason, we can consider this as the country's main contribution to ASEAN's response in dealing with the effects of the Covid-19 virus. Another factor we can consider as one of the \"strengths" of The Philippines in battling the pandemic is the vast supply of health workers in our country. For many decades, our nation consistently supplied nurses and health workers in different countries across the globe. And with 10,000 health workers leaving the country every year, The nation can accommodate the demands of medical staff due to the rampant spread of Covid-19 all around the world. Lastly, Filipinos are well known for being resilient in times of trouble and desperation. Despite the many disrupting pandemonia that people of The Philippines faced, we still have the reason and the energy to see the brighter side in the dark and despairing storm, Even so being resilient or \"pagiging matatag\" in the times of adversity is simply not enough in current issues that the globe is facing right now. What we need is a better solution and plan of action in mitigation or even diminishing the cases of Covid-19 in our society. And this is not plausible if corrupt officials are stealing our funds and countries are not hand in hand dealing with the pandemic. With proper response and transparency with the people, We can shrink down Covid globally without the help n-F +l-u: \\u-II-r-inn
