• Identify a recent event (either in the news or one that you directly observed) that may have been influenced by the effects of groupthink or other group dynamics. Describe the event. Explain the group dynamics present in the situation. What was the outcome?
• How might the decisions made and the process by which they were made be different if an individual, rather than the group, made the decision?
• What can you do in the decision-making groups of which you are a part to diminish the tendency for groupthink or other problematic group dynamics?
