If you are not involved in any, plan and perform a homemade factorial experiment and collect and analyze the data. Phase 1: Proposal 1. Each team of 4-5 students will prepare and submit an initial proposal of the term project (one per team). 2. Proposals are due on or before April 22.2021. 3. The proposal should be of no more than 4 pages (double spaced) in professional report format indicating Introduction or Background Problem Statement Objectives Choice of the response(s) and measurement methods List all factors with appropriate classification and levels Choice of design. Please refer to the guidelines for designing experiments covered in Chapter 1, in Montgomery, Design and Analysis of Experiments. 8. ed., John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2013 Phase II Complete Project 1. Each team will prepare and submit one copy of the term project. 2. Final reports are due on or before April 16, 2021 3. The report should include topics from phase I and Plan for data collection (Restrictions, preliminary studies, measurement accuracy, etc.) Data collection and statistical analysis, Interpretation of results, Summary and recommendations. 4.
