If I am trying to find the per unit cost for indirect materials,would I take the total variable cost for indirect materials and divide that by the total variable overhead cost or by the number of units produced?

Example: I have an indirect material amount of $49,500, total variable overhead cost of $396,000 and total produced units of 15,000.
