If my broad topic of interest for a research project is "forced guardianships and elderly abuse", what would be an appropriate problem statement to argue a need for change in policy and practice? My project focuses on forced or illegal guardianships that are set in place solely on unethical and corrupt means such as abducting, drugging, isolating, etc., usually established through public officials or local people in power (District Attorney (DA), State Representative, local courts, or a licensed attorney all who KNOWINGLY and VOLUNTARILY compose the false court documents that fill the victim's file to appear as being legitimate while ruining families by taking and hiding a loved one and ultimately euthanizing once ALL assets or resources are depleted. Depleted solely to benefit the financial stability of all parties involved in this newer or recently spoken of via the movie "I Care A lot" from 2020 abuse of our vulnerable elderly population in Pennsylvania. I am unsure of a strong problem statement, research questions, a theme or design, nor a narrowed topic to complete the research accordingly
