If t account requirments for margin trading is 50% margin on portfolio, but if you have lower risk portfolio you can do a portfolio margin (guven equity requirments)- what's the margin rate for a portfolio that's composed of half hugh grade bonds/treasuries and half low investemnt garde/bb+ (high low grade bonds) bonds? Can you give an estimate given that infomation? would you be allowed more margin? or no?
