If you are completing Task 1 in your workplace, you should use the same (minimum two) work colleagues you identified and used for AT2. If you are completing Task 1 using a simulated workplace, you will need to identify people (minimum two) to assume the roles of the simulated work colleagues you used for AT2. If you are completing this task in class, you may select classmates to assume these roles. If you are completing this task online, you may select online classmates, or friends and family to assume these roles. The evidence you submit will need to show that you have selected a different person to fill the role of each simulated work colleague.

Based on the performance and development plans you created in AT2, you are required to conduct a coaching session for your team members on how to achieve the goals and outcomes that were agreed upon and allocated to them in their plan.This coaching session may be conducted in a face-to-face or virtual environment. You are required to capture recorded evidence of five (5) minutes of your coaching session that demonstrates you appropriately communicating and interacting with your team members and submit it with your Portfolio of Evidence for this task.

You must provide evidence of the following using Appendix 1:

1. Using Part A in the template, provide evidence of assigning tasks and providing coaching, instruction and feedback to at least two (2) team members. This evidence must demonstrate and verify that you have:

• allocated tasks to your team members based on their expertise or development potential, and that you provided them with appropriate instruction
• facilitated open and respectful communication and collaboration between team members, including those from diverse backgrounds
• provided timely and constructive performance feedback, including coaching
• provided assistance and support to achieve team goals.
