Ikea recalled 27 million dresser chests after the chests fell on children and resulted in 3 deaths and 14 injuries.The Malm chests needed to be anchored to the wall or they could tip over.Ikea's recall is simply a call for anchoring the chests.Consumers are able to order or pick up an anchoring kit for the Malm chests.One child dies every two weeks and one child is injured every 24 minutes from furniture or TVs tipping over.The recall tells the chest owners to put the Malm chests in storage or place them in areas where children cannot gain access until they can get the anchoring kit installed.
