Read the case under "Illustrating the Law" pages 234-240 in the text. (If you have 3rd edition, see page 232 in Chapter 11). Answer the following questions.

1. What supports should have been provided to the teaching staff by the school system?

2. Which of these supports would have been essential to meet the FAPE requirements of IDEA?

3. Consider student's in your setting that are often sent to the office for behavioral reasons. Of those students, would you say a higher percentage are students with learning differences? What support can be implemented in order to provide support for these students?
