A company went public on December 1, 2015, with an issue of 5 million shares. The offer price was $30 per share. At the end of the day, the price was $39. The current price is $35. How much money, if any, was left on-the-table? 3. The stock price of Marcus Motors is $500 per share. Management wants to get the price down to approximately $65 per share. (1)What stock split would be required to get to this price, assuming the transaction has no effect on the total market value? Put another way, how many new shares should be given per one old share?
