IMPLEMENT STRATEGIES TO SUPPORT STUDENTS WITH ADDITIONAL NEEDS Note to students: This cluster requires you to provide evidence of your ability to complete the tasks outlined in this template with two students with additional learning needs. One student must be a school age child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Additional needs might by ADHD, ASD, Challenging Behaviour, Giftedness, English as Additional language, Visual or Hearing Impairments, Physical Impairments, etc. Students, their families, friends and other staff that might need to be mentioned, must always be de-identified. You should allocate a unique identifier to each student for the purposes of this evidence document so that you can demonstrate that you have worked with at least two students (for example, Student 1 or Student A, and Student with ASD). 1. Describe how you implemented support teaching strategies planned by the teacher through modelling and reinforcing. Describe in detail for each student. 2. Describe improvement to learning opportunities suggested to teacher. Describe in detail for each student. 3. Describe student behaviour that indicated risk to students' emotional wellbeing and that you reported to teacher. Describe in detail for each student. 4. Describe how you responded to student behaviour that may indicate risk to students emotional wellbeing. 5. Describe students progress you identified and discussed with the teacher.
